Tax Services – David Chaney offers tax preparation and planning for businesses and individuals. Tax services for businesses include preparation of corporate and partnership returns, for both federal and state tax agencies. Payroll and sales tax preparation is also offered on a quarterly and monthly basis. Services for individuals include year-end tax planning and preparation. Electronic filing is available for quick tax refunds.
Assurance Services – David Chaney offers assurance services including audits, reviews, compilations, agreed upon procedures, and due diligence reports. Services can be provided for commercial businesses, quasi-governmental entities such as homeowner associations and municipal utility districts, non-profit organizations, and retirement plans including, but not limited to, DOL limited scope audits.
Bookkeeping – David Chaney offers monthly, quarterly, or annual bookkeeping services. This is often used in conjunction with sales tax, payroll tax, and income tax preparation.
QuickBooks Consulting – David Chaney is a Certified QuickBooks Proadvisor and teaches classes on the subject at the University of Houston Small Business Development Center. He assists clients in such ways as setting up QuickBooks for new or existing businesses, finding solutions for persistent problems, and teaching staff how to properly use and take advantage of the program.
Incorporation Services – David Chaney can file papers with the Secretary of State to establish a new corporation or limited liability company (L.L.C.). He will obtain a tax identification number from the IRS, make the necessary tax elections to be taxed as an “S” corporation (if desired), and assist with obtaining a sales tax permit and establishing a Texas Workforce Commission account.
International Business Issues – David Chaney works with numerous foreign owned businesses with operations in the United States. All of the above services are offered with the specialized knowledge necessary for international tax and business issues.
